Data Controller
Agrobit S.r.l. — Via Fiume 11, 50123 Firenze (FI), Italy — VAT number IT07166840483.
Email of the Data Controller: info@agrobit.ag. You may contact the Data Controller at this address for any question about this notice or to exercise your rights (see below).
What this notice applies to
This notice covers the website www.agrobit.ag and the contact forms it contains (the Contact and Partners & Resellers pages). It does not cover the iAgro app, which has its own privacy notice shown and accepted at the time of registration, also referenced in the service's Terms and Conditions.
The website is built as a static site, with no reserved area or integrated payment system: the iAgro subscriptions shown on the Shop page link to Agrobit's online shop, which has its own notice regarding the processing of payment data.
What data we collect
Data voluntarily provided in the contact forms
When you fill in the form on the Contact page, we collect: first name, last name, email, phone number, city (optional), the options selected under "Who are you?" and "What are you interested in?", crops, hectares, and the message you write.
When you fill in the form on the Partners & Resellers page, we collect: first name and last name, company (optional), role/profession, email, phone number (optional), the type of partnership you are interested in, and the message you write.
In both cases the data is sent to the email address info@agrobit.ag so that we can respond to you; it is not stored in a site database or used for purposes other than responding to your request, unless you expressly ask to be contacted again in the future.
Data collected automatically
As with any website, for technical and security reasons our hosting provider (Cloudflare, see below) automatically collects certain connection data (IP address, browser and device type, page requested, date and time, server response code) in the server's technical logs. This data is necessary for the operation and security of the site, is kept for the minimum time necessary for those purposes, and is not used to profile users.
Data we do NOT collect
The site does not use profiling, statistical, or advertising cookies or tracking tools (no Google Analytics, no Facebook/Meta pixel, no advertising or remarketing system). There is no newsletter or mailing list. For details on the few technical tools actually used, see the Cookie Policy.
Purposes and legal basis of processing
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Responding to requests sent via the Contact and Partners forms | Pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject and consent expressed via the mandatory checkbox on the form (art. 6.1.b and art. 6.1.a GDPR) |
| Security, abuse prevention, and technical operation of the site | Legitimate interest of the Data Controller in ensuring a secure and functioning service (art. 6.1.f GDPR) |
| Displaying the interactive map of our offices via Google Maps on the Contact page | Legitimate interest of the Data Controller in providing useful, easily accessible information about its offices (art. 6.1.f GDPR) |
| Fulfilling legal obligations (e.g. accounting, tax) for contractual relationships with partners and customers | Legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR) |
Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent your data to third parties. The data may be accessible to:
- Agrobit staff authorized to handle requests received (sales, technical, administrative).
- Cloudflare, Inc. — provider of the site's hosting and content delivery (CDN) infrastructure. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Google LLC — for the interactive map of our offices (Google Maps) shown on the Contact page. Google Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare and Google also operate in the United States; the transfer of data to non-EU countries takes place on the basis of the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and/or recognized adequacy mechanisms (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework), adopted by the respective providers.
Retention period
Data submitted through the contact forms is retained for the time necessary to handle your request and, if a business relationship is established, for the duration of that relationship and for the subsequent period required by legal obligations (e.g. tax and accounting obligations, typically 10 years). If no relationship follows, data from contacts that did not proceed further is deleted within 24 months of submission. Technical connection logs are retained for a limited period, generally not exceeding a few weeks, unless a longer retention period is necessary to establish computer-related offences.
Your rights
As a data subject, you have the right to ask the Data Controller at any time, by writing to info@agrobit.ag:
- access to your personal data and a copy of it;
- rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erasure of your data, where there are no legitimate grounds for its processing;
- restriction of processing in certain cases;
- portability of data processed with your consent or under a contract and by automated means;
- objection to processing based on the Data Controller's legitimate interest;
- withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
We respond to requests within one month of receipt, free of charge. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) (www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence in the EU.

Agrobit's website and services are aimed at professionals and businesses in the agricultural sector and are not intended for persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors through the contact forms.
Security
We adopt appropriate technical and organizational measures (encrypted HTTPS connection, hosting on Cloudflare infrastructure, restricted access to the data received) to protect personal data from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.
